Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – Welcome to the Spice Island

Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Maziwe Adventure representative and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town, the island’s cultural capital.

Spend your evening relaxing after your journey or take a short stroll to explore the lively Forodhani Gardens, where you can sample freshly grilled seafood, sugarcane juice, and local delicacies under the stars.

Day 2: Stone Town Historical Walking Tour

After breakfast, set off on a guided walking tour through Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history and architecture. Your guide will take you through winding alleys filled with life, markets, and ancient buildings that tell the story of Zanzibar’s multicultural heritage.

Highlights of your tour include:

Day 3: Spice Farm Tour & Prison Island Excursion

Today, experience the famous Zanzibar Spice Tour. Walk through plantations where you’ll see, smell, and taste the island’s aromatic treasures such as cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and vanilla. Learn about their traditional uses in medicine and cuisine, and enjoy sampling tropical fruits fresh from the farm.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride to Prison Island (Changuu Island). Discover its fascinating history and meet the island’s famous giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old. You can also swim or snorkel in the clear waters surrounding the island.

Day 4: Transfer to Nungwi Beach – Relaxation by the Ocean

After breakfast, drive north to the beautiful Nungwi Beach, one of Zanzibar’s most stunning coastal destinations. Along the way, you’ll pass through local villages and scenic landscapes that showcase the island’s rural life.

Upon arrival, check into your beachfront resort and spend the rest of the day relaxing, swimming, or enjoying a beachside lunch. The white sands and turquoise waters provide the perfect backdrop for your tropical getaway.

Day 5: Beach Leisure & Optional Water Adventures

Today is all about relaxation and adventure. You may choose to spend the day at leisure or participate in optional activities such as:

• Visit to the Mnarani Turtle Conservation Center

In the evening, enjoy a romantic beach dinner or a walk under the moonlit sky.

Day 6: Morning at Leisure & Departure

Enjoy your final morning in Zanzibar with a leisurely breakfast by the ocean. Depending on your flight schedule, you may take a short walk on the beach or enjoy a swim before check-out.
