Enjoy an aerial view of Tanzania’s landscape during your flight, which takes approximately 1 hour.

07:15 AM – Arrival at Mikumi Airstrip & Safari Briefing
Upon landing, meet your friendly Big Three Tours and Safaris guide, who will brief you and begin your game-viewing adventure.

08:00 AM – Check-In at Safari Lodge/Camp
Refresh and drop off your luggage before heading out on your safari.

10:00 AM – Half-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Head out for your first thrilling game drive. Mikumi is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and more. The open savannah and Acacia woodland make wildlife spotting easy and enjoyable.

01:00 PM – Lunch at the Lodge or Picnic Site
Enjoy a delicious lunch while soaking in the sights and sounds of the wild.

03:00 PM – Relax at the Lodge or Optional Evening Game Drive
Relax at the lodge or opt for a short sunset game drive to spot nocturnal animals as they begin their activities.

07:00 PM – Dinner & Overnight at Safari Lodge
Enjoy dinner around a campfire under the African sky. Overnight stay in a comfortable lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Return Flight to Zanzibar

06:30 AM – Early Morning Game Drive
Start your day with a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. Look out for big cats on the hunt, birds in flight, and herds grazing peacefully.

09:00 AM – Return to Lodge for Breakfast & Checkout

10:30 AM – Final Short Game Drive (Time Permitting)
Depending on your return flight schedule, enjoy a final sweep of the park.

12:30 PM – Transfer to Mikumi Airstrip
Say goodbye to Mikumi as you head to the airstrip for your flight back.

01:00 PM – Flight to Zanzibar
Fly back to Zanzibar with amazing photos and unforgettable memories.

02:15 PM – Arrival in Zanzibar & Hotel Transfer
Our driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. End of safari.
