Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds.

Enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes filled with wildlife such as lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and countless bird species. Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting animals throughout the year — making it a photographer’s paradise. You’ll have a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. As the sun sets, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a comfortable mid-range lodge.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Spend the day exploring this natural wildlife haven, home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s lush landscape and permanent water supply support a dense population of animals all year round. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, followed by a final game drive before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha, marking the end of your incredible 2-day safari adventure.
