Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, our safari representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or campsite in Arusha. Use the rest of the day to relax, explore the town, or prepare for your adventure. In the evening, meet your guide for a short safari briefing.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive through this wildlife-rich park, home to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and hundreds of bird species. In the late afternoon, drive to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a relaxed game drive through forests, open savannahs, and lake shores before returning to Karatu in the evening.

Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, drive toward Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at scenic viewpoints for photos before descending into the endless Serengeti plains. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Seronera region, where you’ll likely encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and herds of wildebeests and zebras.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destination. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains in search of greener pastures. Morning and afternoon game drives will maximize your wildlife sightings, from large predators to herds of antelopes. Return to camp for dinner and overnight under the starlit African sky.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final early morning game drive in Serengeti before heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You may choose to visit Olduvai Gorge (optional), one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Arrive at Simba Campsite on the crater rim for dinner and overnight with breathtaking views over the crater.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular natural wildlife sanctuaries in Africa. Enjoy a half-day game drive, spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare black rhino. Have lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls and driving to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Cultural Tour in Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, head to Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural tour. Experience local life by visiting banana plantations, rice fields, traditional beer brewers, and local markets.

Enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch prepared by a local family before spending the afternoon relaxing or exploring on your own.

Day 9: Mto wa Mbu – Arusha / Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha, enjoying the scenic views of the Rift Valley and Maasai villages along the way. Depending on your flight schedule, you may be transferred directly to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure.
