Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and rich biodiversity. The park is home to lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, and hundreds of bird species.

Enjoy a full-day game drive across the Tarangire River valley, where animals gather to drink and feed. In the late afternoon, drive to your budget campsite near Mto wa Mbu or Karatu, where dinner will be served around the campfire.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Arrive at Simba Campsite, located on the crater rim, in time for dinner. The campsite offers stunning panoramic views of the crater below  a perfect spot for photos and relaxation before your final day’s adventure.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest unbroken calderas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater floor is teeming with wildlife  expect to see lions, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, and even the rare black rhino. Enjoy a half-day game drive followed by a picnic lunch at the hippo pool.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 4-day budget safari.
